Marqués de Riscal and the Spanish Olympic Committee have signed a sponsorship agreement whereby the historic bodega has become the Official Supplier of Wine for the Casa de España of the Spanish Olympic Committee in Paris during the Games.
José Luis Muguiro, General Sales Director of the company, and Alejandro Blanco, Chairman of the Spanish Olympic Committee, were responsible for announcing this agreement, whose purpose is to support the Spanish Olympic movement this summer in the French capital with quality national products.
José Luis Muguiro stated that as part of its commitment to sport , “Marqués de Riscal has collaborated with the Spanish Olympic Committee since 1986 and this year with the Olympic Games being held in Paris, we will be together once again”.
For his part, Alejandro Blanco commented that “for the Spanish Olympic Committee, it is an honour to enjoy the support of a company like Marqués de Riscal, with a long and recognised history and enormous international prestige which will enable us to position the Spain brand at the highest level on this privileged stage”.
Marqués de Riscal, in its commitment to supporting sport (it sponsors the Madrid in Motion riding team and collaborates in competitions in various disciplines), is happy to continue a collaboration that started in 1986. Since then, the wines have been present in the Casa de España at different Olympic Games. On this occasion, Marqués de Riscal Verdejo 100% Organic and Marqués de Riscal Reserva are the wines which have been selected to support the Spanish Olympic Committee from the Casa de España.
